Holland Village Singapore

Holland Village has been the talk of the town of late — but not for the same reasons as before. Once celebrated as one of Singapore's most iconic cultural hotspots, it has made recent headlines for the departure of long-standing tenants like Bynd Artisan, Thambi Magazine Store, and Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao. Yet new additions — most notably One Holland Village — have breathed fresh life into the neighbourhood.

A Neighbourhood That Has Always Evolved

Holland Village began as a recreational neighbourhood for British soldiers in the 1930s, grew into an expatriate hub, and by the 1970s developed a stronger Singaporean presence with the Buona Vista HDB estate and Holland Road Shopping Centre. The opening of Holland Village MRT station on the Circle Line cemented its connectivity.

One Holland Village introduced new family- and pet-friendly concepts since opening in December 2023. One Holland Village Residences (296 units) sold out in March 2025. Coming up next is Skye at Holland — a 666-unit development by CapitaLand Development, UOL Group, Singapore Land Group, and Kheng Leong Co.

Property Price Trajectory in District 10

From 2015 to August 2025, median unit prices for resale non-landed private properties in District 10 rose 43.7%, from $1,562 psf to $2,244 psf. In the Queenstown planning area, median prices climbed 78.2% over the same period. Rental median prices in District 10 have also climbed 47.4% since 2021.

Future Potential: one-north and Dover-Medway Precinct

Holland Village's proximity to one-north adds long-term upside. Under the Draft Master Plan 2025, URA plans to revitalise the Dover-Medway area, creating a new estate with up to 6,000 public and private homes. This positions Holland Village as a compelling location for working professionals and families.
